Who we are
Rostes rents out machines, vehicles and trailers. For questions about your data, write to rostes4@inbox.lv or call +371 2946 6008.
What we collect
When you send a booking request: your name, phone, email, company (optional), delivery address (if you choose delivery), the units and dates you ask for, and your note. When you sign in to your account we keep a sign-in cookie for up to 30 days.
Why
Only to handle your requests and rentals: to call you, agree price and delivery, confirm or decline, and keep a history of your rentals. Legal basis: steps before and for a contract (GDPR Art. 6(1)(b)), and our legitimate interest in keeping booking records (Art. 6(1)(f)).
Who sees it
The owner and the people who work with the bookings. Technical providers that run the website store it for us: hosting (Vercel), database (Neon) and email delivery (Resend), inside the EU where possible. We don't sell your data or use it for advertising.
How long
Booking records are kept for as long as accounting rules require. You can ask us to delete anything we don't have to keep.
Cookies
Only what the site needs: the sign-in cookie for your account, and your request basket saved in your own browser. No advertising or tracking cookies.
Your rights
You can ask to see, correct or delete your data, or object to how we use it. Write to rostes4@inbox.lv. You can also complain to the Data State Inspectorate of Latvia (www.dvi.gov.lv).
